Jung is trained in various styles of music from classical to jazz alongside with his training as a classical pianist and a singer. Jung’s interest in modern music also naturally led him to explore genres such as soul, R&B, pop and indie.
Often spotted at local music gigs and professional stages, his influences include Honne, Mac Ayres, Hyukoh, Dean to Beethoven and Chopin. He recently held his debut performance with his band, Band Puleun at Zeppelin&Co as part of their performance series called “Cicada Plays” which has held artists such as Kevin Loh, Lil' New Stream Brass Band, Shmil Berniker and Rick Smith. Soon after the debut, the band performed at RIF 2019 (Rock Indie Festival) which featured other local artists such as iNCH Chua, Linying, brb. and many more.
A curious artist, currently pursuing his major in composing and arranging BA(Hons) in LASALLE College of The Arts creating his unique sound by blending in all of his influences.
